It has been a little hectic at my regular job and I haven't really had time to do much.  Since We had a three day weekend, I thought that I would take new shots of some of products and wanted to share them with you.

Busy, Busy, Busy Day

After being in training all week, going into to work after training, I came home and made three batches of soap for my luxury line.  The first is Passion Fruit Papaya made with aloe juice, goat's milk, and organic sweet potato, cocoa butter, shea butter, olive oil, avacado oil, coconut and canola oil.  The second was made with goat's milk and the same butters and oil.  The third batch is my first beer soap made with Miller Lite, white tea and the same butters and oils.  Let me tell you, when I made that beer soap, I thought that was I was in an old brewery!  I am hoping that it will mellow out, I can smell a slight fruity scent and I am hoping that will come through.  I will post cut pics when they are ready.

Orders, Orders and more Orders

Well it looks like my hard work is hopefully starting to pay off.  I have had several orders recently and my latest order was for smelly jellys.  Now usually I put my smelly jellys in canning jars with daisy lids but this customer wanted hers in wine glasses.  I wasn't too comfortable telling her that I would make them that way since there was no way I could figure out how to put a lid on them or someting to keep them from spilling over.  These will be hand-delivered so I agreed and wrapped them up and they are ready to go.  Here they are before I boxed them up.  I already sent her a picture of them and she wants several more!  Yay!  Gonna keep on working to put my business name out there and keep reaping the benefits :)

New Soap Line

I am making a new line of soaps.  My luxury bars.  They are made in small batches no more than 3 lbs.   they will be made with cocoa butter, shea butter, mango butter, olive butter and other rich butters that will feel wonderful on your skin.  Not that my regular line doesn't  feel as wonderful as well, I just don't use as much of those rich butters in my regular soap.  Two batches I made already are Angelica and Sage Leaf.  Cocoa butter makes the bar a bit harder but it is also a skin softening agent in soap.  Honey is a humectant and helps retain moisture.  Mango butter is another moisturizing butter.  Olive oil helps retain the moisture in your skin.  You can use 100% olive oil for a castille bar.  It is a softer bar but great for the skin nonetheless.  These are just a few of the ingredients that I will be using in my new luxury line of soaps.

The big debate

OK, so I am soon due for an upgrade on my phone and am now faced on which phone to get.  The I-phone 4 or the Droid X?  I have an I-pod touch and love it but I have heard some negative reports on the I-phone.  The decision is going to be hard so that I why I am starting early checking and reviewing which one I should get.  Do you have any thoughts on the matter?  Let me know.
